Our hospital provides 24-hour emergency service with full-time emergency physicians on duty. It holds an ALS Base Hospital Certificate issued by the State of Arizona, authorizing medical direction and support of pre-hospital care providers such as fire department and ambulance personnel. More than 100 affiliated physicians comprise the medical staff, representing a broad cross-section of specialty areas. Visiting physician specialists assist local physicians in patient care on a referral basis.
Our client hospital is a 150 bed hospital located in the Northwest corner of AZ. It is approx. 70 miles from the city lights of Las Vegas, NV., and only about 30 miles from the California mountains situated right on the Colorado River!
We are looking for a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a Monday through Friday day shift position. Will assist physicians with angiography, heart catherizations, atherectomy studies, and mitral and aortic valvuoplasty. This is a two bed unit. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:2. The types of patients treated on this unit are Radiology and Cardiology.
Must have Associate Degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology and/or Associate Degree in Radiological Technology. Prefer 1 year experience in Special Procedures (Invasive Radiology) and/or Cath Lab. Required are ARRT and Arizona License, BLS.
