Job Description
Description
The Phlebotomist I performs positive patient identification and obtains blood specimens from both inpatients and outpatients utilizing venipuncture and/or capillary techniques, according to established procedures. Utilizes Laboratory Information System to label and enter specimens received. Shares knowledge and expertise with caregivers. Performs clerical and support duties, as requested.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent
3 months work experience as a Phlebotomist or related field.
