The Director oversees the direction and daily operations of Lab services. Oversees the administration of the Lab Department's activities and directs the activities of all departmental personnel. Establishes and enforces policies and procedures in all areas of the department. Prepares budgets, approves purchases, personnel actions and department objectives. Establishes policies procedures standards for department in conjunction with DHS, JCAHO and other regulatory agencies.
Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences or related field.
Five years supervisory laboratory experience required. Seven-year clinical lab experience. Excellent customer service skills required.
California CLS required. ASCP preferred. |
